New Delhi: An actor and musician from South Korea, Kim Hyun Joong, spearheaded the boy band SS501 and was its primary rapper. His role in Boys Over Flowers brought him fame, and he was honoured with the Popularity Award at the 45th PaekSang Arts Awards and the 2009 Seoul International Drama Awards for his work in the film.
His commercial success has earned him the title of one of the most prominent Hallyu stars from South Korea in the early 2010s. Additionally, he is a member of the charity football club FC MEN and a Korean icon.
His first studio album, after completing military, ‘Re: wind’, a Japanese single album, was out in July 2017. On the Oricon album chart, the album peaked at number one. A Bell of Blessing was Kim Hyun Joong’s first online concert, which took place on October 17, 2020. On October 19, the limited-edition album was published, marking his second complete Korean album.

1. When Time Stopped (2018)
Moon Joon Woo, a man with the ability to stop time, feels isolated and purposeless until he meets Kim Sun Ah, who remains unaffected by his power. 2. Inspiring Generation (2014)
While a Japanese soldier was occupying Shanghai in the 1930s, 15-year-old Shin Jung Tae’s father was shot and killed. However, rather than obtaining justice, Jung Tae is falsely accused of killing his father. While growing up in Shanghai’s dark alleyways, Jung Tae becomes the top fighter on the continent by resorting to fighting for justice.
3. Playful Kiss (2010)
A clumsy high school student Oh Ha Ni falls for Baek Seung Jo, a perfectionist. Despite this, Seung Jo shows no emotion and turns down her affection. After Ha Ni’s home falls apart, she and her dad take refuge at the home of his long-time friend. It just so happens that Seung Jo is the oldest son of Ha Ni’s father’s closest friend, which opens the door for her to spend more time with the guy she loves.
4. Boys Over Flowers (2009)
Geum Jan Di is from a poor family who owns a dry-cleaning shop. One day she saves a student from suicide at Shinhwa High and earns a scholarship to the prestigious school for her heroic act. While attending school, there, she encounters F4, the powerful and notorious boys – Gu Jun Pyo, heir to Shinhwa Group; Yoon Ji Hoo, grandson of a former president; So Yi Jung, a skilled potter; and Song Woo Bin, from a construction family. Jan Di faces bullying and exclusion but ultimately becomes a target of F4’s harassment.
