New Delhi: Kolonko, the next intricate and multi-layered Bengali drama from creator-director Sahana Dutta, will soon be available to watch on Hoichoi. The online series, which is directed by Abhimanyu Mukherjee, includes a stellar cast including Srijla Guha, Ritwick Chakraborty, and Raima Sen. Once again, the filmmaker is teaming up with Sahana Dutta, a longtime colleague and writer-producer, to bring even more enchantment to the screen.
Plot
The plot of Kolonko revolves around Chaiti and Rangan, a couple who were closest friends in college, fell in love, and went on to have two children together. Before they were married, the happy pair vowed to each other that they would be completely forthright with each other no matter what, even if they felt feelings for someone else.
After twenty happy years of marriage, Rangan broke the news to Chaiti that he had fallen in love with someone else, which was more difficult for her to accept than she had anticipated. He does not tell her directly, but he gives her enough hints that she can figure out their recurring meeting. The story twists, however, when murder and blood are involved.

The trailer for Kolonko was released earlier, providing a refined glimpse of the storyline and several intriguing symbolic hints.
In the opening sequence of the trailer, we see a woman whose identity is blurred as she desperately tries to wash her hands beneath a running tap to erase the bloody stains.
While in their homes and minds, Chaiti and Rangan engage in self-conversation while swinging, gazing into a mirror, and conversing with their disembodied observer-narrator selves.
When and Where to Watch?
On Hoichoi, beginning January 19, 2024, the Raima-Ritwik team is prepared to offer Kolonko to the excited fans.

Other Details
Raima Sen, Ritwick Chakraborty, Gaurav Chakrabarty, Srijla Guha, Ambarish Bhattacharya, and many other well-known actors from the Bengali film industry contributed to the cast of Kolonko.
There are elements of betrayal, presumed acceptance, and catastrophic revenge that are incorporated into the criminal thriller that is Kolonko. There is no doubt that Kolonko will be an exciting show to watch, and it will undoubtedly take us on a thriller drama that will be fascinating enough to watch.
