New Delhi: After the death of singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, popularly known as KK the Kolkata Police has registered an unnatural death case over the death of the singer at the New Market police station.

Krishnakumar Kunnath, on Tuesday collapsed at the Grand Hotel after returning from a show in Kolkata. He was rushed to a private hospital in the city, where he was pronounced dead.
According to Kolkata Police, a autopsy will be conducted at SSKM Hospital in Kolkata today to ascertain the cause of death. Also, the police will be talking to the hotel staff and the event organisers.
His face and head bore injuries.

KK got his break as a playback singer with A R Rahman’s hit songs ‘Kalluri Saaley’ and ‘Hello Doctor’. In Bollywood, he started by singing a small portion of ‘Chhod Aaye Hum’ from Gulzar’s Maachis.
