Kriti Sanon hails from Delhi and her father is a Chartered Accountant and mother is a Physics teacher at the Delhi University. She comes from a Punjabi family and her sister Nupur Sanon is also an actress. The ‘Mimmi’ actress did her schooling from the DPS R K Puram in Delhi and later received a degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering.

The ‘Adipurush’ actress has worked as a model before becoming an actress. Kriti made her acting debut with a Telugu Psychological thriller film ‘Nenokkadine’ with veteran actor Mahesh Babu. The same year she was offered a second Telugu film ‘Dohchay’ with Naga Chaitanya. After this the ‘Mimi’ actress signed a Bollywood film with Varun Dhawan ‘Dilwale’.
