New Delhi: Another song from Akshay Kumar and Emran Hashmi starrer ‘Selfiee’ is out now. ‘Kudiyee Ni Teri’ features Akshay and Mrunal Thakur grooving to the beats. The song is sung by pop singers The PropheC and Zahrah S Khan. It is a remake of The PropheC’s song and the recreation is done by Tanishk Bagchi.
The music video shows Akshay Kumar back in his body-flaunting Khiladi avatar as he shows his abs in a black overcoat. Mrunal Thakur looks stunning in a variety of glamourous dresses as she dances to The PropheC’s beats. A section of the song also features Akshay in a tracksuit and Mrunal in shorts with a crop top, dancing beside a neon sports car.
The music video for the song is directed by Ahmed Khan while Prince Gupta has done the choreography. The lyrics are penned by The PropheC and Tanishk Bagchi and the duo has given a song to dance in a party. ‘Kudiyee Ni Teri’ is produced under the banner of Play Desi Music Factory.
Directed by Mehta, ‘Selfiee’ stars Akshay Kumar, Emraan Hashmi, Nushrratt Bharuccha and Diana Penty. The film is written by Rishhabh Sharrma and Azeem Dayani has worked on the music.
The film follows actor Vijay Kumar, played by Akshay Kumar, who needs to obtain a new driving license from RTO officer, Om Prakash Agarwal, a diehard fan of his. The circumstances lead to a clash and chaos. ‘Selfiee’ is a remake of the Malayalam film ‘Driving Licence’ and is produced under the banners of Dharma Productions and Star Studios. The film will release on February 24.
