Kudumbasthan OTT Release Date: Veteran actor-writer K Manikandan recently graced the big screens with his highly awaited Tamil film Kudumbasthan.

Written and directed by Rajeshwar Kalisamy and Prasanna Balachandran, the comedy flick premiered on the big screens on January  24, 2025, & received decent reviews from both the fans and critics.

So far, the family drama has managed to amass a sum of 17.50–18 crore (Approx) & is still running firmly in the theaters. After completing its Box Office journey, the film will also land on a popular OTT platform.

Where and when to watch Kudumbasthan online? 

According to the reports, Zee5 has purchased Kudumbasthan’s digital rights & is all set to roll out the movie on its platform in the coming days, offering fans a chance to enjoy it right from the comfort of their homes.

While no official confirmation of the Tamil entertainer’s exact OTT release date has been made by its makers so far, sources suggest that the film might make its way to the digital screens on or around February 28th, 2025.

Plot

Starring Manikandan as the sole lead, Kudumbasthan follows an ordinary guy Naveen who is the only earning member of his family.

Despite struggling to make ends meet in his daily life, the guy has committed himself to supporting his UPSC aspirant wife, renovating his house, as well as sending his elderly mother on her dream religious pilgrimage.

However, one day, things change from bad to worse and Naveen’s life ends up losing his job. What happens next and how the guy handles the nightmarish situation while hiding his unemployment from his family members is revealed in the movie.

Besides K. Manikandan, Kudumbasthan also stars Saanve Megghana, Guru Somasundaram, and Nivedita Rajappan amongst others in key roles. S. Vinoth Kumar has produced the movie under the banner of Cinemakaaran.
