Kummattikali OTT Release Date: Madhav Suresh and Mithun Prakash’s Malayalam drama Kummattikali was released in theaters on September 20th, 2024.

Written and directed by Ramesh Ammanath and Vincent Selva, respectively, the film received a decent reception from the cinegoers during its days on the big screens, garnering special praises for beautifully depicting the traditional cultures of coastal communities. Now, it has also started streaming online on OTT, but there’s a catch.

When and where to watch Kummattikali online on OTT?  

In just a few days, viewers will get the chance to enjoy Kummattikali online on Simply South, which is the official streaming partner of the Madhav-starrer film overseas. From May 9th, 2025, the OTT gaint will make the rural drama available for watching on its platform, offering quality entertainment to its subscribers right from the comfort of their homes.

Proudly announcing the news, Simply South recently also dropped a post about the movie’s digital premiere on their social media handle. Sharing an intriguing poster of the flick on X (previously Twitter), the streamer wrote, “streaming on Simply South from May 9 worldwide, excluding India.”

Meanwhile, it is to be noted that fans residing in India won’t be able to access this film online on Simply South, at least as of now. However, the good news is that they can watch it online on Manorama Max instead.

Besides flaunting Madhav Suresh and Mithun Prakash as its main actors, Kummaattikali also features other skilled artists like Raashik Ajmal, Dhananjay Premjith, Lenaa, Mime Gopi, Yami Sona, Devika Satheesh, and Azeez Nedumangad in its star cast. The film is bankrolled by R.B Choudary under the banner of Super Good Films.
