Kushi BO, Day 1: Samantha-Vijay’s romance movie opens to good numbers, collects Rs 16 crore

New Delhi: The Telugu film Kushi had a good start at the Indian box office on Friday, boosted in no little part by the fact that Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Vijay Deverakonda returned with a love picture that received rave reviews upon its release.

About the film ‘Kushi’

The film chronicles the romance that develops between Vijay’s character Viplav and Samantha’s Aaradhya when each is on a solo trip to Kashmir. However, their families intervene to force them apart. The couple decides to be married in order to prove their families incorrect, but their happiness together is threatened as they begin to have disagreements.

Kushi, which Shiva Nirvana wrote and directed, and which Mythri Movie Makers produced, has also been dubbed into Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam.
