‘Kushi’ New Release Date: Vijay Deverakonda, Samantha Ruth Prabhu starrer love story to hit cinemas on this date

New Delhi: The new release date for Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu starrer Telugu film, ‘Kushi’ has been announced. Mythri Movie Makers shared the announcement on social media and asked the fans to be ready to experience a love story between two different worlds. The film is set to have a pan-India release on September 1.

As the film was previously supposed to release last year on December 23.

Written and directed by Shiva Nirvana, the film is a love story between an army officer and a Kashmiri girl, set in the valleys of Jammu and Kashmir. Last year, we witnessed another love story of an army officer in Dulquer Salman and Mrunal Thakur starrer ‘Sita Ramam’. Apart from the lead cast, ‘Kushi’ also stars Lakshmi, Murli Sharma, Vennela Kishore, Jayaram and others.

The rom-com has a lead cast with huge fanbases and the film is one of the most anticipated projects of the year. Vijay Deverakonda is returning to the big screen after the failure of his last film ‘Liger’ while Samantha is at peak of her career while dealing with personal and health-related problems.

The makers released the motion poster of the film in May last year, which showed Vijay in a long attire smoking a cigarette while Samantha in a stunning pink saree.

Before ‘Kushi’, Samantha Ruth Prabhu will be seen in ‘Shaakuntalam’ alongside Dev Mohan. The mythological romantic film will release on the big screen on April 14. The actor also has ‘Chennai Story’ in the pipeline.
