Inspired by Laura Lippman’s well-known fiction novel of the same name, the mystery thriller will start streaming on Apple TV + from July 19, allowing fans to enjoy it from the comfort of their homes.

Lady In The Lake OTT Release Date and Platform

Featuring Natalie Portman as the leading lady, Lady In The Lake will make its OTT debut on the renowned platform Apple TV+  on July 19th, 2024.

Earlier this month, the streaming giant also confirmed the news of the murder thriller’s arrival on the platform with a social media post shared on X (Previously Twitter) on July 18th.

In the post, Apple TV + dropped the intriguing trailer of the web series &  announced that it will become available for streaming by July 19th for its subscribers.

The digital platform also wrote a caption attached to the trailer & the same read, “You wanted to tell everyone’s story but your own.” Natalie Portman is Maddie Schwartz. Moses Ingram is Cleo Johnson. Lady in the Lake premieres July 19.”

Lady In the Lake Plot

Acclaimed journo Maddie Schwartz (Natalie Portman)  is trying to solve a murder mystery in Baltimore. However, the more she tries to untangle the case, the more she gets entangled in it. What happens next & how the lady overcomes the challenges to unveil the truth is the remaining story of the series.

Cast and Production

Besides Natalie, Lady In The Lake sees Noah Jupe, Mikey Madison, Brett Gelman, Y’lan Noel, and Moses Ingram playing crucial roles. Lachlan Milne is the series’s cinematographer while Bad Wolf America, Eye On the Ball, Zusa, MountainA, Haddad, Crazyrose, and Fifth Season are its production companies.
