New Delhi: Malhar Thakar and Puja Joshi’s family entertainer Lagan Special is all set to make its OTT debut this summer.
Helmed together by ace directors Rahul Bhole and Vinit Kanojia, the Gujarati comedy flick, on June 6, 2024, will premiere on popular streaming platform ShemarooMe which has already acquired its digital rights a long way back.

Unveiling the deets of Lagan Special digital premiere, Shemaroome, on Tuesday, took to its official Instagram handle & dropped the film’s intriguing trailer.
Along with the trailer, the digital giant also attached a caption & the same read, “Mark your calendars & get ready for the ‘Lagan Special’. Witness their love story unfold live on the Shemaroo Me app!.”

The announcement has left the fans excited who are now waiting to enjoy the flicker on their digital screens with bated breath.
Lagan Special Plot
Lagan Special is a Gujarati family drama written by Suraj Baraliya. It circles the life of a couple Shekhar (Played by Malhar) and Suman (Played by Puja) who are just a single day away from getting married.
However, amidst the wedding preparations, Suman overhears Shekhar confessing that he does not love Suman and has no feelings for her either.
This leaves Suman heartbroken and she decides to cancel her marriage right away. This triggers major chaos in their families & Shekhar now must convince Suman that what she heard him saying wasn’t the complete truth.
