Lal Salaam OTT Release: After much delays and a long wait, the most anticipated film of the legendary actor Rajinikanth will be arriving in the OTT Platform soon. According to sources, the film will stream in Netflix soon. However the makers are yet to announce the streaming date of the film.
The film hit the theaters in February 2024 and since the the audience who missed watching it in the big screen can enjoy watching the Rajinikanth starrer from the comfort of their homes.
The sports drama is directed by Ranjinikanth’s daughter Aishwarya Ranjinikanth. Meanwhile, the film is based on communal riots and has been waiting for its OTT debut since it was released in theaters.
Furthermore, the film was officially announced in Novermber 2022 and was shot in locations like Chennai, Mumbai and Pondicherry.
Plot
The story of the film revolves around two cricketers based in Murarbad where hindus and muslims used to live in harmony despite their religious differences.
The two boys named Thiru and Shamsudeen play cricket and their fathers are also close friends. Both the fathers have witnessed their sons playing together since childhood.
However things take a dramatic turn when local politicians try to bring communal tension in the area when elections are around the corner.
One of the politicians decide to bring differences in the friendship of Thiru and Shamsuddin.While playing cricket one day,Thiru injures Shamsuddin’s hand leading to a massive conflict.
Also, the close bond between Thiru and Shamsuddin gradually dies and Thiru starts playing cricket in other cities.
Meanwhile, one day Thiru ends upsaving Shamsuddin’s life accidentally and both friends again come close to each other.
However. the film’s ending is nice as both the communities unite with each other after all the differences.
