Lal Salaam’s plot tells the tale of two youthful boys ( played by Vikranth & Vishal Vishnu) who suffer a major blow in their pursuit of becoming successful cricketers when they are thrown out of the team unfairly.
How the duo bounces back from this setback & turns their cricketing dream into reality under the guidance of Rajnikanth’s character Moideen Bhai forms the essence of the story.
Besides featuring megastar Rajinikanth in a power-packed extended cameo appearance, Aishwarya directorial Lal Salaam will also see 1983 Cricket World Cup winner & former Indian captain Kapil Dev playing a crucial role.

While makers are yet to make any official confirmation regarding Lal Salaam’s OTT partner, the digital rights of the sports-drama flick have been reportedly bought by leading digital platform Netflix. This means that the Rajnikanth Starrer will start streaming on Netflix following the conclusion of its Theatrical run.
Speaking of the film’s budget, Lal Salam is believed to be made on a moderate budget of Rs 50 crores. The movie is produced by Subaskaran Allirajah & will hit the theaters under the banner of Lyca Productions.
