New Delhi: There will soon be an over-the-top debut in India for the much-anticipated Canadian series Law & Order: Toronto: Criminal Intent. Based on true crime tales from Canada, the show is set in Toronto and is filmed there.
With an impressive 20-year run beginning in 1990 and ending with its revival, Law & Order has been a mainstay on NBC’s listing. New spin-offs and the next season will carry on this tradition.
It is possible that Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent will be the most successful Canadian original television series launch to date. Since its debut on Citytv on February 22, 2024, the series has been a top-rated prime-time drama year after year.
Plot
The plot of the series revolves around a group of highly trained detectives who are tasked with investigating instances of high-level criminal activity and corruption in the Greater Toronto Area community.
A major case squad in the Toronto Police Department, the Specialized Criminal Investigations Unit is the focus of this psychological thriller series that is also a criminal investigation. Metro Toronto killings and corruption cases are investigated by these investigators.
When and Where to Watch?
Beginning on May 31, 2024, Jio Cinema will be the platform where the first season of Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent will make its debut in India. It is already possible for Canadians to view the new episode on Citytv, where the series is already accessible.

Cast and Crew
Actors Aden Young (as Sergeant Henry Graff), Kathleen Munroe (as Frankie Bateman), K. C. Collins (as Deputy Crown Attorney Theo Forrester), and Karen Robinson (as Inspector Vivienne Holness) make up the series’ core cast.
Araya Mengesha, Nicola Correia-Damude, Tammy Isbell, Daniel Kash, Maika Harper, Christie Stewart, Lindsay Owen Pierre, Masini McDermott, Ian Tracey, Rachael Crawford, and many more are among the other supporting characters.
Following in the footsteps of the original series developed by Rene Balcer, Tassie Cameron, and Dick Wolf for Universal Television, ‘Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent’ consists of ten episodes. Cameron Pictures and Lark Productions are the producers of the series.
