Lee Soo Hyuk Turns 36 Today: Let us celebrate his 36th birthday (May 31, 2024) by watching some of his most memorable dramas.

New Delhi: The YG Entertainment agency represents Lee Soo Hyuk, a model and actor from South Korea. During the 2006 Lone Costume fashion show, he made his modelling debut for designer Jung Wook Jun. “General Idea” and “Song Zio” are only two of the well-known fashion houses in the country where Soo Hyuk has performed. Covers for Elle, GQ, and Bazaar were among his numerous projects.

He branched out into acting after making cameo appearances in the 2009 and 2010 music videos for girl groups 2NE1 and Gavy NJ, respectively. A brief part in 2006’s My Boss, My Teacher marked Soo Hyuk’s acting debut. After the 2010 love film The Boy from Ipanema which took home several accolades, his career took off.

1. Tomorrow (2022)

Choi Joon Woong, struggling to find a job, intervenes when he witnesses a man attempting suicide, leading him to meet grim reapers Koo Ryeon and Im Ryoong Gu, who work to prevent such tragedies. After an incident leaves Joon Woong in a coma, he becomes half human, half spirit, and joins the Grim Reaper Crisis Management Team. Meanwhile, Park Joong Gil, the team leader, once married to Koo Ryeon in a past life, oversees the management of the dead. Their intertwined paths lead to a mishap, complicating their mission.

2. Doom at Your Service (2021)

Following the deaths of her parents, Tak Dong Kyung dove headfirst into her career. After six years of editing online novels, her life seemed to be stabilizing, but then she received the devastating news of her diagnosis of brain cancer. She bemoans her bad luck and attempts to curse her troubles away, thereby summoning the appearance of Myeol Mang/Doom, who is neither human nor God. Myeol Mang can fulfil Dong Kyung’s desires. In a last-ditch effort to save herself, she risks everything by signing a 100-day contract with Myeol Mang to do whatever the hell she wants.

3. Born Again (2020)

In the 1980s, Detective Cha Hyung Bin dedicates himself to criminal justice while loving Ha Eun, a secretive bookshop owner battling heart disease. But serial killer Gong Ji Chul also adores Ha Eun, leading to tragic events. Three decades later, they’re reincarnated, drawn together by fate. As time passes, their new lives intertwine, haunted by past events, and destined for further entanglement.

4. Lucky Romance (2016)

After a traffic accident leaves her sister in a coma, Shim Bo Nui resorts to superstition to save her. She seeks out Je Su Ho, a successful CEO born in the Year of the Tiger, as advised by a fortuneteller. Su Ho, a rationalist focused on his gaming company, clashes with Bo Nui’s beliefs. Their unlikely connection unfolds amidst Bo Nui’s desperate attempt to save her sister.

5. The Scholar Who Walks the Night (2015)

A young nobleman – Kim Sung Yeol keeps his word to his companions by living as a vampire during the Joseon Dynasty while clothed pristinely in academic robes. During his human days, Sung Yeol learned about the vampire Gwi, who decides the line of succession to the throne and who has risen as a vampire to oppose Gwi. Now he fights wicked vampires as a guardian vampire, all the while maintaining his humanity.
