New Delhi: Leo, starring Thalapathy Vijay, is set to be one of the most successful Indian films of 2023. It has the potential to break several box office records. On October 19, Leo will be released to theatres worldwide in several languages.
Producer SS Lalit has stated that on October 15, advance booking for Leo would begin in Tamil Nadu.
Subsequently, film industry expert Ramesh Bala used X media to corroborate the exciting news of the advance booking launch in Tamil Nadu.

Due to overwhelming demand, Seven Screen Studios—the studio in charge of Leo—applied to the government of Tamil Nadu for permission to hold early morning screenings. Showtimes of 4 am and 7 am were recommended, however, confirmation for final timing has not yet been received.
Meanwhile, theatres in Tamil Nadu have been given official approval to host premieres of Thalapathy Vijay’s new film, Leo.
Since Leo’s scheduled release coincides with India’s joyous Ayudha Puja and Navaratri celebrations, this choice is exceptionally well-received.
From October 19-24, Leo will be eligible for a special screening once per day according to the official Government Order. There is a daily limit of five of these checks.
Without jeopardising public health or leading to overcrowding in theatres, the state administration has said that proper preparations should be made with the assistance and protection of the police.
On October 5, the movie trailer for Leo was released to the public for the first time in Madurai. The film boasts notable performances from actors such as Trisha Krishnan, Sanjay Dutt, and Arjun Sarja.
In celebration of Vijay’s 49th birthday, the first poster for the film ‘Leo’ was unveiled in June.

Advance Booking Overseas
The estimates from the international market are fantastic, and its success in India will be immense. Pre-sales for the film have already broken records, particularly in overseas markets.
According to Cinetrak’s data, pre-sales for Leo have been very successful, with $3 million worth of tickets sold throughout the globe.
With over $1.3 million in presale ticket sales, North America is now Leo’s top international market. So far, the United Kingdom has contributed 0K, while Europe has contributed 0K from ticket sales over the first weekend.
