New Delhi: One of the intriguing film lineups for 2024 is Lift, a new Netflix original that features action and comedy from Fast & Furious filmmaker F. Gary Gray. Thrilling robbers attempt the pinnacle of aerial thefts in this gripping heist thriller, snatching $500 million worth of gold from an aircraft at 40,000 feet.
Collaborating with Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Vincent D’Onofrio, Ursula Corbero, Billy Magnussen, Kim Yoon-Ji, and Viveik Kalra, Kevin Hart stars in the crucial part.
Storyline
Kevin gathered his gang and revealed their crazy scheme earlier in the trailer. The plot calls for them to plunder an enormous stash of gold worth $500 million from the skies as the jet merrily flies along at 40,000 feet. Yet, he makes it plain that they will all be donning orange jumpsuits if they make even the slightest mistake.
In the narrative, a former master thief is persuaded by both his ex-girlfriend and the FBI to carry off a robbery that seems to be impossible. He does this by working together with his multinational team on a 777-passenger aircraft that is travelling from London to Zurich.
Release Date and Platform?
Lift was originally set to premiere on August 25, 2023, but it has been pushed back and is now out today, January 12, 2024, on Netflix. It was delayed to the present date because of the effects of the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike on its marketing in the US.
