Liger OTT release: Check when and where to watch Vijay Deverakonda’s Bollywood venture

Those who could not watch the movie on the big screen will soon have the convenience of relishing it in the comfort of their home

New Delhi: Telugu star Vijay Deverakonda had slammed a section of social media users during the promotion of his film Liger that those campaigning for boycott of his sports drama ‘will only see it on their mobile phones’.

Deverakonda was confident then that his debut Bollywood venture would do well in theatres and would make it into the Rs 200 crore club though it didn’t happen.

The film proved to be a massive flop at the box office with only a fewer audience arriving in the cinema halls to watch the movie. While the lead actress Ananya Pandey got rid of the grief of failure by spending a holiday in Italy, Devarakonda has not been spotted in public appearances yet.

Meanwhile, those who could not watch the movie on the big screen will soon have the convenience of relishing it in the comfort of their home.

According to reports, the post-release rights of Liger were bought by Disney+ Hotstar at an expensive price and now it is preparing to release the film on OTT. The platform will reportedly release the film in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada language.

Though, the Hindi audience may have to wait a little longer. If reports are to be believed,  apart from the Hindi version, Liger can be released in other languages on Thursday, September 22.

On the other hand, the Hindi version of the film can start streaming from October 5 onwards, on the occasion of Dussehra.
