This mystery-filled plot of the oncoming Korean Drama, ‘Light Shop’ is the right way to start the Christmas countdown.

New Delhi: In this world, shops of all kinds are seen in the markets. Accessories, clothing, technology, you name it, there is a store for it. But what if the origin of a mysterious shop comes into view, that sells lamps? One may think of it and wonder, what can be so mysterious about a simple shop selling lanterns to make a living? But what if the real question of doubt doesn’t reside in the shop’s appearance or mystery?

What if the real reason behind the shop’s mysterious tag is the fact that beings of the living, never come out alive from those doors? This mystery-filled plot of the oncoming Korean Drama, ‘Light Shop’ is the right way to start the Christmas countdown. The series, scheduled to arrive on streaming sites on 4th December this year, holds the right amount of mystery and thriller meant to keep the viewer entranced and hooked.

Plot

There is a shop, at the end of the alleyway. It shines hooking your eyes to the glowing orbs of orange and yellow and white, encapturing, pulling you close as if you’re seeking some sort of purpose there. The shop sells lamps, but is that all this shop does? Even the owner, his eyes hidden in the veil of neatly framed black shades, doesn’t know how he ended up here.

People don’t come to this shop without a purpose. Not until they see things no one can. The question always lurks, of course, what do people see at the end of their time? Is it holy light, a dark tunnel, or a loved one waiting to hold them in their arms?

At the start of the trailer, the alleyway laden with dark is shown, where the shop glows in the night as if otherworldly. The owner describes further, that the people who visit this shop are of many differences. Not quite alike, not quite different. In this ‘Light Shop’, the dead may come back, but what about the living?
