New Delhi: After enthralling movie lovers with back-to-back blockbuster OTT series such as Scoop and Scam 1992, veteran filmmaker Hansal Mehta is set to arrive with yet another action-packed series Lootere set to release in the coming weekend.
The thrilling action thriller, inspired by a real-life marine time crime incident, will throw a light on the struggle for life and liberty of several ill-fated passengers of a ship hijacked by Pirates off the coast of Somalia

Lootere is going to make its digital debut on the leading OTT Platform Disney +Hotstar, giving viewers a chance to enjoy the thriller from their home’s comfort.
From March 22 onwards, the digital platform will make the episode-based series available for streaming exclusively for anyone having a monthly or quarterly subscription to its service. Therefore, users who have not subscribed to Disney +Hotstar will be unable to watch the series on the portal

The bone-chilling web series follows the journey of an Indian cargo ship’s crew members who come face to face with death after their vessel gets hijacked & taken over by deadly pirates from Somalia.
How few courageous men from the crew liberate themselves from the evil clutches of the invaders & save innocent lives forms the crux of Lootere.
Cast and Production
Lootere in its star-studded cast sees Rajat Kapoor as its lead protagonist while also featuring Vivek Gomber, Aamir Ali, and Amruta Khanvilkar in important roles. It is produced by Silaahs R Singh under the banner of Karma Media and Entertainment.
