“Lord Shiva doesn’t need a structure”: Kangana Ranaut’s shocking take on Gyanvapi mosque row

New Delhi: Ahead of the release of her upcoming action-thriller ‘Dhaakad’, Bollywood’s fierce actor Kangana Ranaut visited the Kashi Vishwanath temple in Varanasi on Wednesday. Ranaut was accompanied by her co-stars Arjun Rampal and Divya Dutta for darshan at the renowned temple.

Post to the ‘Dhaakad’ team’s temple visit, Kangana was surrounded by the media, asking for her take on the ongoing Gyanvapi mosque controversy.

“There’s Lord Krishna in every particle of Mathura & Lord Ram in every particle of Ayodhya. Similarly, there’s Lord Shiva in every particle of Kashi. He doesn’t need a structure, he resides in every particle”, she was quoted saying by the news agency ANI.

Kangana is well-known for being vocal on the social and political issues in the country, hence resulting in turning the heat on various rows while maintaining to remain in the headlines.

For the not-known, a Varanasi court had ordered the local administration to seal the pond compound of the disputed Gyanvapi Masjid complex after the advocates of the Hindu petitioners claimed that a Shivling was found in the compound after the surveyors drained the water from the pond. The action was followed by the court’s order of videography survey in the disputed complex.

A woman in Varanasi had appealed in the court seeking permission for daily prayers in the Shringaar Gauri temple present inside the Gyanvapi mosque complex.

Previously, she garnered irked on social media for standing with Telugu actor Mahesh Babu for his comment that Bollywood cannot ‘afford’ him.

“He (Babu) was right that Bollywood can’t afford him, this I agree (with). I know for a fact that many filmmakers have approached him”, she had said.

“His generation has singlehandedly made Telugu industry the number one film industry in India. Now, Bollywood definitely can’t afford him. I don’t see why this should be made into a huge controversy”, Kangana had added.
