Made In Heaven Season 2 Twitter Review: Zoya Akhtar’s show not as good & vibrant as Season 1

The tale remains interesting and sympathetic due to the progressive peeling back of the layers between the characters’ personal upheavals and professional obstacles.

New Delhi: Season 2 of ‘Made in Heaven’ has now started premiering on Amazon Prime Video today, bringing with it the grandeur of weddings, the hard realities, and plenty of drama after a long four years. Made in Heaven 2, which picks up six months after the first season’s events and follows wedding planners Tara and Karan, is an engaging, though sometimes sombre, blend of drama, humour, and lively performances.

Review

Season 2 of Made in Heaven is visually stunning and very dramatic and emotional, showcasing both the talents and shortcomings of directors Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti. Despite the film’s glitzy presentation, you can tell that Akhtar, Kagti, and their team have a deep understanding of, and compassion for, their characters because of the attention to detail they put into building them.

Made in Heaven 2, shows that Tara and Karan’s company is being slowed down. The tale remains interesting and sympathetic due to the progressive peeling back of the layers between the characters’ personal upheavals and professional obstacles. But still, it can be said that the roles hold lesser impact than the previous season.

The show showcases good acceptance of the darkness and stillness of unease. Each episode has its own story, yet they all connect. The season goes into a wide range of subjects, including racism, equality among the Dalit caste, adultery, polygamy, and lesbian weddings. Even if there may be some unpleasant moments, nobody loses sight of the fundamental goal.

But it becomes tacky at times, and that takes the fun out of it for a while. While the good intentions are fresh, Zoya and Reema are better renowned for being more restrained in their message.

Fans were really excited for season 2 and that’s why they are now showering their comments and reactions throughout social media.

One user wrote, “As much as I love what it stands for, Made In Heaven 2 didn’t work for me. I got a little tired of being lectured. The wokeness is too handpicked, and it loses its sheen over 7 (long) episodes.”

While another user showed excitement and wrote, ” UFFF The sheer JOY that is this show. We’ve waited long enough to say… Now watching: Made in Heaven Season 2″
