Maidaan Teaser Out: Double treat for Ajay Devgn fans this Ram Navami

New Delhi: Fans of Ajay Devgn will be in for a double treat! On the same day that the action picture ‘Bholaa’ hits theatres, the teaser for the actor’s next movie, ‘Maidaan,’ is released. With this, the star is expected to dominate the box office this year. Maidaan, which claims to recount the golden era of football, stars Ajay Devgn as Syed Abdul Rahim, who worked as the Indian football team’s coach and manager from 1950 until his death in 1963. He is largely regarded as the father of Indian football.

The actor commented in response to the teaser, “#Maidaan mein Gyarah par dikhenge Ek. #MaidaanTeaser #MaidaanOnJune23 #PriyamaniRaj @raogajraj @iAmitRSharma @arrahman.”

The teaser began with the commentator introducing the viewers to the Summer Olympics 1952 contest at Helsinki Stadium in Finland. They are up against Yugoslavia’s skilled team. The golden era of football, from 1952 to 1962, saw the Indian football team compete in the Olympics twice despite numerous obstacles.

‘Maidaan,’ directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma and co-produced by Boney Kapoor and Zee Studios, is billed as a sports drama with a script by Saiwyn Quadras and dialogues by Ritesh Shah. Priyamani, Gajraj Rao, and Bengali actor Rudranil Ghosh also star in the movie, which is scheduled to be made into a movie worldwide on June 23, 2023. Together with Akash Chawla and Arunava Joy Sengupta, Kapoor serves as producer.

In the meantime, Ajay Devgn’s Bholaa was also released today. The movie is an authorized Hindi remake of Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Tamil film ‘Kaithi,’ which he wrote and directed. Ajay Devgn plays a hero in the movie who would shake each of the villains to their core. It’s been described as a “one-man army, set in one night, fighting a slew of opponents in diverse shapes, human and otherwise.”

The original movie told the story of an ex-convict who wants to meet his daughter for the very first time after being granted parole, but gets caught up in a shootout between police and the drug mafia.
