New Delhi: Reports suggest that the teaser for ‘Pushpa: The Rule’ is set to release on April 8, which happens to be Allu Arjun’s birthday. The makers are following the trend of releasing film updates on actors’ birthdays and this will be the first look clip of the much-anticipated film. On March 20, a video featuring shots from the first part teasing the viewers emerged on social media, suggesting the release of the ‘Pushpa 2’ trailer.

Pictures from the sets have been surfacing on the internet and after the success of the first part, there has been a lot of hype surrounding the film. The film went on the floor in November last year. A major schedule in Visakhapatnam and as per the online portal Aakashavaani, the makers will release a three-minute-long teaser on April 8.
The film follows the rise of a sandalwood smuggler as he goes on to become a big shot from being a labourer in the past. The sequel to the film will focus on the clash between Allu Arjun’s Pushparaj and Fahadh Faasil’s SP Bhanwar Singh. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna as Srivalli.
Originally made in Telugu, the film was dubbed and also released in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi. ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ earned over Rs 300 crore worldwide, while its Hindi version grossed Rs 100 crore. Seeing the popularity of the first part, the sequel is expected to leave behind the success of the prequel.
It is to be noted that the producers, Mythri Movie Makers, have not made any official announcement regarding the teaser.
