New Delhi: The Thai BL drama KinnPorsche was a smash hit throughout the world, and now Be on Cloud (BOC) is back with its first feature film, Man Suang. Cast members from KinnPorsche returned to appear in this epic drama, which generated quite a sensation since it was pushed as historical espionage.

An exciting mystery thriller, Man Suang takes place in ancient Thailand and follows two young men assigned the mission of exposing the sinister inner workings of the posh but shady Man Suang club. Khem and Wan are selected to join Man Suang’s undercover troupe just as political intrigues are about to rock Siam to its very core.

Story

Two young guys from Chachoengsao named Khem and Wan set out to uncover the secrets of Man Suang, Siam’s most opulent and mystifying nightclub. At the latter end of King Rama III’s reign, behind closed doors, political strategists and negotiators convene. When the two friends join the group, they encounter a taphon player Chatra. As their bond deepens, Man Suang’s sinister secret and their own ulterior goals are gradually exposed.

Murder, revolt, the hunt for the truth, and a significant shift during events for both the kingdom and the three men are all potential outcomes of this mission.

When and Where to Watch?

A theatrical release of Man Suang was first made available in Thailand in August in the year 2023. Now this Thursday, February 29, 2024, the film will also make its over-the-top debut and will be available on Netflix.

Cast and Crew

In the lead, Khem is played by Apo Nattawin, Chatra is portrayed by Mile Phakphum, and Wan is portrayed by Bas Asavapatr Ponpiboon.

Bas Asavapatr and Tong Thanayut are two recognisable names in the supporting parts, playing Wan and Hong, respectively. Orn Ornanong, Lookpear Nonthakorn, Chua Sornchai, Nat Chartchai, Gandhi Wasuwitchayagit, Tua Pradit, and Saifah Tanthana are among the veteran performers who bolster the ensemble.

Along with Ning Bhanbhassa, resident BOC director Pond Krisda comes back as the film’s scriptwriter. Both have experience with KinnPorsche. Director Nat Chartchai, who has directed several films and television series, will also be joining them.
