Maple Leaf Dreams OTT Release: The emotional love saga of a Filipino couple is all set to arrive in the streaming platforms on 4th December on Netflix. The film hit the theaters on September 25th, 2024.

Plot

The story of the film follows the life of a Filipino couple Macky and Molly who are tired of their poor life and financial instability and decide to move to Canada to make their lives better.

The couple used to work as a Restaurant Manager and Office Secretary in Phillipines but are not paid enough and often deal with financial crisis to make their ends meet.

The wife realizes that there will be no future in a limited salary and they must change their jobs to make their life better as their current job is not giving them anything and they continue to struggle.

Meanwhile the wife Molly decides to move to Canada to begin a student program. The couple finally move to Canada. They spent the first few days enjoying and exploring the new city by clicking pictures and hanging out.

The couple decides to open their own restaurant and Macky says he’ll perform in the Restaurant which will help boost the sales. However they realize that its not easy to start up a fresh project in the city.

But the two continue to give emotional support to each other. Despite trying hard nothing seems to work for them. However despite all the odds, their families continue to support them.

Star Cast and Production

The film is directed by Benedict Mique and the star cast features Kira Balinger, LA Santos and Ricky Davao.
