New Delhi: Raako Yoagandran is the writer and director of Marikkuma Nenjam, a school comedy romantic drama that was released in 2024 in the Kollywood film industry. First shown in theatres on February 2, 2024, it is currently scheduled to be released via over-the-top platforms very soon.
Plot
The film chronicles the experiences of real-life individuals who are compelled by a court order to attend the same school where they fainted in 2008 for three months to retake their board examinations. The film also follows a hill station schoolteacher as she goes about her daily work.
When it comes to school stories, Marakkuma Nenjam puts a new spin on things. It looks and feels much like the trailer for the film, taking us back to our school days. The film follows a teacher as she lives and teaches in a hill station, highlighting how the attractive villagers’ children reflect the lives of regular pupils. Cast and Crew
In addition to VJ Rakshan (Karthik), Dheena Moorthi (Salim), Malina Atul (Priyadarshini), Rahul Sinha (Gautham), Swetha Venugopal (Saranya), Munishkanth (Karthikeyan), and Muthazhagan Dhrona (Raghhav), the film has an intriguing ensemble cast.
The script for the film was written by Thamarai, while Sachin Warrier was the composer of the film’s score. Raako Yoagandran was the director of the film. While Gopi Duraisamy oversaw the cinematography, Bala Murali oversaw the editing department. During the production of the movie, Prem Karunthamalai oversaw the art direction.
