Maranamass OTT Release Date: Basil Joseph and Rajesh Madhavan’s latest black comedy Maranamass emerged as a bumper hit at the Box Office.
Amassing a whopping sum of Rs 18+ crores from the ticket windows, the film enjoyed a dream run at the Box office, receiving acclaim from the audiences for its gripping story, compelling narrative, and impactful acting performances.
Meanwhile, with the Malayalam entertainer successfully winning over the viewers’ hearts on the big screens, fans are now also eagerly awaiting it to land on OTT.

According to the latest reports, Maranamass is likely to make its OTT debut on SonyLiv in the coming days. While an official confirmation for the same is still awaited, sources suggest that the thriller movie might start streaming online by mid-May 2025.
Plot
Helmed and written by debutant director Sivaprasad, Maranamass tells the tale of Luke PP, a notorious young man who ends up becoming the main suspect in a serial killing case of elderly people.
Authorities suspect that Luke, disguising himself as ‘Banana Man’, has been on a rampage, killing multiple elderly residents in the area, thereby igniting terror in the hearts of local folks.
What is the hidden truth? Who is slaying elderly people camouflaged as the ‘Banana man? Is it Luke or someone else trying to get the former into trouble? Watch the film to know the answers.
Cast and Production
In addition to Basil Joseph and Rajesh Madhavan, Maranamass also features Siju Sunny, Babu Antony, Anishma Anilkumar, Suresh Krishna, Pooja Mohanraj, Joemon Jyothir, Puliyanam Poulose, Dheeraj Denny, Prasanth Alexander, Tovino Thomas, Guru Somasundaram, and Arjai as key actors.
