Melo Movie OTT Release: Melo Movie is an upcoming South Korean romantic comedy television series written by Lee Na-Eun, and directed by Oh Chung-hwan. The series stars Choi Woo-shik, Park Bo-young, Lee Jun-young, and Jeon So-nee in pivotal roles.

Melo Movie is set to stream on Netflix on the 14th of February 2025.

Plot

It is the beginning of a ridiculous and nonsensical conversation that leads them to where they are now. Kim Mubee is a unique name, right? At least to Ko Gyeum it is. Her name literally translates to movie, and he has always been a little fanatic for movies. She hates his constant teasing, but he likes her more and more each time.

Kim Mubee has taken over his heart. The question slips from his own lips once, will she like him? Mubee’s answer? The soft chimes of a laugh, perhaps a yes in her own way. Just as there is a fruitful ending to their love story, Ko disappears.

Mubee is left confused, hopeless, and completely heartbroken. To her, its a case of Ko playing with her feelings and bunking out on her. So, how will she react when he comes back again? Seemingly unwanted? She had blocked him out of her life yet here he was, returning back as a movie critic nonetheless.

She hates movies. Yet here is she, a film director. Her film critic? Ko Gyeum.

Mubee hates him. She should hate him. But why is it that seeing his face makes her yearn for Ko again? Her hopelessness hasn’t yet made her love for him fade, or so it seems. Once again, the pursuit of love begins, this time anew and fresh, as ‘enemies’.

She doesn’t know how long she can resist him, and Ko has never been one to give up either.
