New Delhi: The trailer of Akshay Kumar starrer film ”Prithviraj” was released on Monday. However, the trailer failed to win the hearts of many fans, inviting memes on social media platforms. Netizens said Akshay Kumar does not fit in the role of Prithviraj Chauhan, the spectacular ruler of the Chauhan dynasty.
In the film, Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Sonu Sood, and Manushi Chhillar will be seen in the pivotal role. Notably, the film is scheduled to release in theatres on June 3. It is produced by Yash Raj Films and directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi.
Criticising the maker of the film, a user wrote, ”Yashraj should’ve thought of Rajat Tokas for Prithviraj’s role. He nailed it then, he could’ve done it now as well. Just wearing king-like clothes doesn’t make you king, you got to have that personality & expression.”

Another user wrote the dialogue delivery in the film was the worst part of the trailer.

It is important to note that the actress of the film Manushi Chhillar is the winner of Miss World 2017 from India. Moreover, she is also the winner of the Femina Miss India 2017 pageant.
With the Historical drama Prithviraj, she is going to make her Bollywood debut.
Since being released on YouTube, the trailer has garnered over 47 million views.
