However, it becomes quite difficult for us to pick and choose which series to watch. Thus, we have prepared a list of the upcoming sequels of the popular web series across OTT platforms.
1) The Family Man 3 (Amazon Prime)
Audiences are eagerly waiting for the spy thriller’s season 3 since the time of the end of the second season. The announcement for the release of its season 3 was made by the makers Raj and DK just after the gut-wrenching second season was completed. In a recent interview, the writer of the series Suman Kumar hinted that the new season could be set in the Northeast. “Our country is so rich and diverse that there is a lot to explore. India is one country with different worlds and OTT provides a perfect platform to explore regions, cultures, and people,” said Suman.
2) Asur 2 (Voot)
One of the most popular psychological thrillers is all set to return with its new season. The season will see the return of Nikhil Nair aka Barun Sobti and Dhananjay Rajput aka Arshad Warsi who will engage the audience with another enthralling story. Besides, Riddhi Dogra, Anupriya Goenka, Amey Wadh will also be seen in pivotal roles.
3) Aarya Season 2 (Disney+Hotstar)
Sushmita sen-starrer Aarya will make its OTT release with another season. A few days back, the teaser of the series gave goosebumps to its fans. Sushmita Sen is seen making an entry wearing white and red with her face covered in vermilion. Apart from Sushmita, Vikas Kumar, Namit Das, Sikander kher, Virti Vaghani, Ankur Bhatia will also be seen in main roles.
4) Pataal Lok Season 2 (Amazon Prime video)
Pataal Lok will soon screen its second season. The crime thriller had a jaw-dropping review from the audience with its unexpected turns and twists. The series also became the most-watched series on Amazon Prime Video. The second season will make an appearance by the end of 2021 or the beginning of 2022.
5) Mirzapur 3 (Amazon Prime video)
After the successful running of two seasons, Mirzapur is on the verge of preparation for its third season. Fans are extremely excited to know about the fate of Gudu and Tyagis. Besides, Pankaj Tripathi, who plays the role of Kaleen Bhaiya shared an update when asked about the release date of its third season. He said, “The producers will be able to tell you, but I know that it’s being written.”
