Mission Raniganj Twitter Review: Akshay Kumar shines as Jaswant Singh Gill, wins big praise

New Delhi: Today marks the release of Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue, the latest film from Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar, which is based on a real-life rescue mission.

It seems from the early reviews of Mission Raniganj that one should not pass up on seeing the movie.

Since it was first announced, Tinu Suresh Desai’s film has undergone multiple revisions. The original name of the book was “Capsule Gill,” but it was renamed “The Great Indian Rescue.” In September 2023, the name was again modified to Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue. In this film, Akshay Kumar plays the lead role of a hero who rescues sixty-five trapped coal workers.

When it comes to playing fictionalised versions of real-life heroes on the big screen, Akshay Kumar has always shown to be an excellent decision.
