Mistry OTT Release: If you’re a fan of fast-paced crime dramas brimming with suspense, eccentric characters, and unexpected twists, then Mistry is the next series to add to your watchlist.

With its intriguing plot and a chaotic blend of comedy and mystery, this new-age crime drama promises to shake up the OTT space with its unique storytelling and high-stakes narrative.

The much-anticipated Mistry is all set to make its digital debut on June 27th. The series will be available for streaming exclusively on JioHotstar.

Plot

Mistry brings a fresh and culturally grounded take on the critically acclaimed American series Monk, reimagining the story in an Indian context with emotional depth and cultural relevance. At the heart of the show is Armaan Mistry, portrayed brilliantly by veteran actor Ram Kapoor. Armaan is a former top detective with an extraordinary mind and a profound case of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) — a condition that both hinders and heightens his investigative prowess.

Set in the bustling metropolis of Mumbai, Mistry follows Armaan’s journey as he works as a special consultant to the Mumbai Police. While his compulsive tendencies often make him difficult to work with, his obsessive attention to detail allows him to spot clues and patterns that everyone else misses. Armaan is a paradox—charming yet awkward, brilliant yet broken, deeply empathetic yet emotionally distant.

His condition not only fuels his brilliance in solving crimes but also provides a deep emotional arc throughout the series. Every case he tackles is as much about justice as it is about confronting his own fears, routines, and past trauma.

Mona Singh stars as ACP Sehmat Siddiqui, a seasoned and level-headed police officer who serves as both a partner and a grounding force in Armaan’s chaotic world. Their dynamic adds emotional weight and subtle tension, blending respect, frustration, and reluctant admiration. Rounding out the cast are Shikha Talsania and Kshitish Date, who bring humor, empathy, and additional layers to the investigative team.
