Mithya: The Dark Chapter OTT Release: The Indian Psychological thriller web series will be arriving on the OTT screens on 1st November on Zee5. The series is directed by Rohan Sippy and produced by Applause Entertainment.
Plot
The series is set in the backdrop of Darjeeling. It follows the story of a Hindi Literature teacher who accuses her student of plagiarism. She has assigned her students to write an essay on a particular topic.
But when everyone submits the essay, the professor calls the student Rhea and asks her did she took someone’s help in writing down the essay. To this, Rhea snaps back and says are you accusing me of cheating?
Meanwhile, the student Rhea is the daughter of one of the beneficiaries in the college and she finds it hard to accept that her teacher has accused her of copying, She becomes violent and aggressive
However, the story of the series takes an interesting turn when Rhea starts taking revenge on her teacher and turns her life upside down.
The streaming platform shared the trailer of the series and received a heads up from the viewers, The teaser begins with the teacher sitting with the student Rhea and she is going through her essay.
The teacher played by Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi asks her if she has taken someone’s help in writing the essay, However, to this she replies are you accusing me of cheating? A lot of twists and turns take place..
Meanwhile, in the later half of the story the student is the daughter of the well-known trustees of the college and she takes this on her ego when her teacher accuses her of cheating.
