New Delhi: Director Naveen Narayanghatta’s Kanna comedy drama Moorane Krishnappa arrived on the big screens on May 24, 2024.
Loaded with actors like Rangayana Raghu and Sampath Maitreya in the leading cast, the flicker received decent reviews from the fans who hailed it for its plot, direction, cinematography & other elements.
However, despite garnering a rave reception from the fans, Moorane Krishnappa failed to do anything remarkable at the Box Office & ended its theatrical run with mediocre collections.

Moorane Krishnappa OTT Release Date and Platform
According to the latest reports, Moorane Krishnappa, following the end of its days in the theaters, will premiere on the leading platform Amazon Prime Video, which has already bagged its digital streaming rights quite a while ago.
Now, while there’s no confirmation about the film’s exact OTT release date, sources suggest that the Sampath Maitreya starrer will start streaming on Prime Video on or around June 29th, 2024.
Moorane Krishnappa Plot
Written by director Naveen Narayanghatta himself, Moorane Krishnappa circles the life of a political Veeranna who decides to construct a Temple of Lord Ganesha in order to regain the trust of villagers.
However, all hell breaks loose when the celebrity, who was supposed to inaugurate Veeranna’s newly built Temple, passes away and he is forced to look for his replacement in a hurry.
What happens next? Who inaugurates the Ganesha temple? And how the temple plays a pivotal role in Veeranna’s election campaign is the remaining story of the movie.
