Mother of The Bride OTT Release Date: Brooke Shield starrer wedding comedy-drama set to premiere on This platform

New Delhi: This summer, Netflix is set to treat the fans by rolling out a variety of promising web series and movies. One such highly entertaining show is Mark Waters’s forthcoming rom-com Mother of The Bride which is bound to hit the OTT platform in a few days.

Boasting charismatic actresses Brooke Shields and Miranda Cosgrove essaying lead roles. the female-centric American film will arrive on Netflix on May 9, 2024, offering viewers a perfect dose of top-quality entertainment from the comfort of their homes.

Mother of The Bride Story

Written by Robin Bernheim, Mother Of The Bride circles the hilarious tale of a middle-aged woman Lana (Played by Brooke Shields) who waits eagerly for her daughter Emma’s (Played by Miranda Cosgrove) homecoming to the country after several years.

Meanwhile, Emma, who is returning back home after spending about a year in London, has a not-so-pleasant surprise for her mother.

Upon reaching home, she drops the bomb and tells Lana about her plans to exchange wedding vows with her boyfriend at a lavish resort situated in Phuket, Thailand.

Already in shock by Emma’s announcement of her wedding plan, Lana receives yet another blow when she learns that the guy her daughter is about to marry is the child of a guy who left her heartbroken a few years back.

What happens next and how this new revelation affects the mother and daughter’s relationship is the crux of the film.
