Movie tickets to cost Rs 75 on September 16, check details here

Cinema chains including PVR, INOX, Cinépolis, Carnival, Miraj, Citypride, Asian, Mukta A2, Movietime, Wave, M2K, Delite and many others have put up this offer on 4000 screens across the country.

New Delhi: Multiplex Association of India (MAI) and various cinemas across India have decided to offer movie tickets at just Rs 75 to the audience on September 16. This decision was taken in the wake of National Cinema Day on September 16. This is an expression of gratitude towards film viewers and a step taken to bring back the audience to cinemas after the COVID-19 pandemic.

Cinema chains including PVR, INOX, Cinépolis, Carnival, Miraj, Citypride, Asian, Mukta A2, Movietime, Wave, M2K, Delite and many others have put up this offer on 4000 screens across the country. While a movie ticket usually costs around Rs 200-300, the cost has been reduced by 62.5-75%.

MAI shared an official announcement on Twitter and wrote, “Cinemas come together to celebrate ‘National Cinema Day’ on 16th Sep, to offer movies for just Rs.75. ” In the threaded tweet they announced, “National Cinema Day will be held at more than 4000 participating screens and will include cinema screens of PVR, INOX, CINEPOLIS, CARNIVAL, MIRAJ, CITYPRIDE, ASIAN, MUKTA A2, MOVIE TIME, WAVE, M2K, DELITE and many others.”

Cinema chains in the UK, USA and some European countries will also be coming up with similar offers on National Cinema Day.
