Mr Bachchan OTT Release Date: As per the latest reports, Ravi Teja’s latest Telugu flick Mr Bachchan is all geared up to arrive on OTT sooner than expected.

After buying the film’s digital rights for a whopping sum of Rs 33 crores, its streaming partner Netflix, as per the sources, is ready to roll out the movie on or around September 12 2024 on its platform.

However,  the makers are yet to drop an official confirmation about the film’s digital premiere and are expected to do the same in the coming days.

Mr Bachchan’s Box Office debacle

Starring Ravi, Bhagyashri, Jagapathi & many other veteran actors in its lead cast, Mr Bachchan, inspired by Ajay Devgan’s 2018 release Hindi movie Raid, hit the big screens on Independence Day 2024.

However, despite enjoying a massive pre-release buzz, the Telugu entertainer, made on a whopping budget of Rs 70 crores, failed to fare well with the fans & emerged as a huge failure at the Box Office.

The movie’s collections nosedived right after its initial shows before it quickly wrapped up in the theaters after amassing an embarrassing Rs 7 crore from the ticket windows.

Allegedly based on real-life events, Mr Bachchan is the Telugu adaptation of the 2018 release movie Raid which features Ajay Devgan and Illiana D Criz in pivotal roles.

It tells the tale of Anand, a dedicated IT officer who, accompanied by his team, conducts one of the lengthiest Raid at the residence of an influential leader & industrialist Sardar Inder Singh. What happens next and how Anand’s brave actions make him face the wrath of corrupt powerful politicians is the remaining story of the action thriller film.

Besides Ravi Teja, Mr Bachchan also sees other actors like Bhagyashri Borse, Abhimanyu Singh, Kishore Raju Vasistha, and Subhalekha Sudhakar in key roles.

Vivek Kuchibhotla in collaboration with  T.G. Vishwa Prasad has bankrolled the movie under the banners of Panorama Studios, People Media Factory, and T-Series Films.
