Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway: From Vicky-Kat to Ali Fazal, Bollywood celebs laud Rani Mukerji’s performance

While the movie is not in cinemas yet some of the Bollywood celebs attended the screening of the film and cannot stop appreciating the film and Rani Mukherji’s performance in it.

New Delhi: Rani Mukerji’s upcoming film ‘Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway’ is one of the most anticipated films and fans are eagerly waiting for it since the trailer launch. While the movie is not in cinemas yet some of the Bollywood celebs attended the screening of the film and cannot stop appreciating the film and Rani Mukerji’s performance in it.

Actors and star couple, Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif watched the film and lauded the film on social media. Vicky took to his Instagram stories and wrote that the film makes the audience’s hearts go out to families who went through a lot in real life. He appreciated Rani Mukerji for ‘bearing her soul out’ and mentioned Jim Sarbh, Anirban Bhattacharya, and the ensemble cast for a nuanced performance. He added that Ashima Chhiber’s film will make people cry.

Katrina called it a gripping story with a ‘rollercoaster of emotions’. The Bollywood diva went speechless at Rani Mukerji’s performance.

Talking about the film, Rekha called the film ‘exhilarating and heart-wrenching’ and added that she was sitting at the edge of her seat. The actor also compared it to the classic Hindi film ‘Mother India’.

Actors Ali Fazal and Riteish Deshmukh took to Twitter to write a review about the film and were moved by the story of a mother fighting all the odds. They also lauded Rani Mukerji and Jim Sarbh.

Based on real-life incidents, the film follows an immigrant mother fighting against the Norwegian foster care system to win back her children’s custody. Directed by Ashima Chhiber, the film stars Rani Mukerji in the lead, along with Neena Gupta, Jim Sarbh and Anirban Bhattacharya. The film will release in cinemas on March 17.
