New Delhi: The beloved former captain of the Indian Cricket Team Mahendra Singh Dhoni is all set to take on another role as he officially announced his first film as a producer. Under the banner called Dhoni Entertainments, MSD announced his debut film titled LGM or Let’s Get Married. While there were a lot of rumours saying Dhoni’s first production would be a collaboration with Thalapathy Vijay, that turned out to be wrong. Instead, LGM features the young actor Harish Kalyan in the leading role.

The production revealed the first glimpse of the film at a launch event today in a puja ceremony and took to Twitter to share the same. Dhoni’s wife Sakshi Dhoni was also present at this ceremony alongside the cast and crew of the film. The poster of the film reveals a caravan on a forested road giving us a sneak peek at the tone and cast of the film. Looking like a road trip including beaches and adventure, the motion poster has increased curiosity around the film.

Starring the Pyaar Prema Kadhal famed Harish Kalyan, the film further increases intrigue around the film. Along with Harish, the film stars Ivana playing the female lead who rose to fame with the blockbuster Love Today. Apart from Harish and Ivana, the film stars veteran actors Nadiya and Yogi Babu and has cinematography by Vishwajith.

Being the captain of the Chennai Super Kings, Dhoni enjoys immense support from the people of Tamil Nadu. Fondly called Thala, he has a separate fan base and bond with the people of the state. Further strengthening this bond the Cricketer chose to take his first step in the world of film production with a Tamil film. And we are excited to see how it turns out.
