New Delhi: Actor Sohail Khan and wife Seema Khan has filed for divorce on Friday, after 24 years of marriage. The couple who tied knot in year 1998, was papped outside the Family Court in Mumbai.
The duo has not released an official statement yet regarding their divorce, though they have been living separately for quite some time now.
Post their marriage in 1998, the couple welcomed their first child Nirvan in year 2000, and their second son Yohan later in June 2011 via surrogacy. Yohan celebrated his 10th birthday last year.

On Friday, the couple were snapped making separate exits from the family court in Mumabi. While Seema was papped heading to her car, Sohail was spotted leaving the court premises from a different exit amidst heavy security. A court source told ETimes, “Sohail Khan and Seema Sachdev were present in the court today. They have filed for a divorce. Both were friendly towards each other.”
For the unversed, actor produced Khan had first met Seema, a Delhi based fashion designer, at the sets of his film ‘Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya’. Seema was reportedly living in Mumbai back then, pursuing her career in fashion industry. The two became close in no time and started dating each other.
Meanwhile, the exact reason behind is seperation is still unknown.
