New Delhi: After spending four long years away from the big screen, the Bollywood Badshah appeared to make the comeback of the year as Pathaan wrecks havoc at the box office.
And what’s even livelier is that SRK is currently successfully arousing fans’ nostalgia. The audience is watching something absolutely legendary when Pathaan and DDLJ play side by side in theatres at Maratha Mandir, well known as Mumbai’s famous single screen.
DDLJ has not left Maratha Mandir in more than 25 years. Many films may arrive and go, but Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol’s Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge is a perennial that you are certain to encounter there. It is the best attribute on their part.
Taking it to public notice, Pooja Dadlani, SRK’s manager, recently tweeted about it, saying, “Between these two photographs.. all of us have had a journey to treasure”.
