Plot
The show is set in Naples, Italy, a city rich with culture and tradition, where family is both a blessing and a burden. Fausto, the protagonist, is a seemingly ordinary man in his mid-40s, with a loving wife and children. He runs a modest business and appears to be an affectionate, if sometimes distracted, father. His life, however, is not as simple as it seems.
The series starts with Fausto going about his normal routine, unaware that this will be the final day of his life. He is a man who, despite personal struggles, has always done his best to keep his family together. However, as the day unfolds, tensions rise, secrets come to light, and unresolved conflicts simmer beneath the surface.
When Fausto unexpectedly passes away, his family is left in shock. But what was already a tragedy soon turns into an even bigger upheaval when an unexpected extended family emerges—people whom Fausto had kept hidden or never spoken about. These new arrivals complicate everything, revealing shocking truths about Fausto’s past and his secret connections.
As Fausto’s wife, children, and newly discovered relatives come to terms with their grief. Along that they must also navigate new relationships, responsibilities, and conflicting emotions. Old wounds are reopened, betrayals come to light, and love is tested in unexpected ways.
