New Delhi: It’s the last Friday of 2023 and a number of exciting Telegu movies have arrived to entertain the OTTians by releasing on various digital platforms. Be it action, romance, drama, or any genre that you love, these newly released movies have something or the other that will cater to the taste of movie lovers.
One such movie is Hansika Motwani’s latest thriller drama ‘My Name is Shuruti’ which is set to stream on leading OTT platform Amazon Prime from today onwards.
Considering that the film failed to do any wonders on the Big screens during its box office run, it will be interesting to see if the movie manages to turn things around with its premier on the OTT platform Amazon Prime.
About My Name is Shruthi
Helmed by Acclaimed director Srinivas Omkar, My Name is Shruthi tells the story of a girl (Hansika Motwani) who is lured into the trap of the skin mafia while working for an advertising agency. How she fights it out and manages to free herself from the clutches of Mafias is the remaining story of the movie.
Besides Hansika Motwani, the thriller drama also features a number of renowned actors including Pooja Ramachandran, Raja Ravindra, Prema & Murali Sharma. It was produced by Nagendra Raju & Ramaya Prabhakar and made it to was the big screens on 17th November.

Hansika earned fame in the Telugu film industry after working in Puri Jagannath’s 2007 rom-com Deshamudru.Following that, the actress became distant from the Telegu film industry and focused on working in several Tamil movies.
Now, after a long gap of 4 years she finally made her comeback in the Telugu industry with My Name is Shurti but unfortunately, received a lukewarm response from the public.
