New Delhi: Telugu film ‘Krishna Vrinda Vihari’ has got an official release date. The film stars actor Naga Shaurya and singer turned actor Shirley Setia. The movie will hit theatres on 23 September 2022. Along with the announcement, the producers also shared a new poster of the film.
The latest poster shows the lead actors sharing an intimate moment, where Naga Shaurya kissed Shirley’s cheeks as she smiles. The adorable look was also shared by the actors on their social media pages. Sharing the news, Shaurya wrote, “So finally, locked the date and excited to meet you all in Theatres! #KrishnaVrindaVihari Releasing on September 23rd only in Theatres!”

The film is a romantic comedy featuring an intimate love story with from meeting to separation. In the film’s teaser, released in March Naga Shaurya, playing Krishna, is seen spending some romantic moments with Shirley Setia as Vrinda. But, eventually, Vrinda tells Krishna that he is “running after the wrong girl.”
Apart from Shaurya and Shirley, the film also stars Radhika Sarathkumar, Rahul Ramakrishna, Amitash Pradhan, Vennela Kishore and Brahmaji. The film is directed by Aneesh Krishna and produced by Usha Mulpuri’s Ira Creations. Mahati Swara Sagar, credited with work in ‘Ishq: Not a Love Story’, worked as the music composer in the film.
Naga Shaurya will be seen in three more films, namely, ‘Phalana Abbai Phalana Ammai’, ‘Nari Nari Naduma Murari’ and ‘Police Vari Hecharika’. On the other hand, this is Shirley Setia’s third film as she was previously seen in ‘Maska’ and ‘Nikamma’.
