National Cinema Day Postponed: Here’s when audience can get Rs 75 ticket now

After the release of ‘Brahmastra’, the crowd of viewers seems to be returning to the theaters after a quite long period

New Delhi: National Cinema Day, which was earlier scheduled to be celebrated on Friday, has now been postponed keeping in view the box office success of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Brahmastra’.

Theatre chains across the country would offer tickets of Rs 75 to the audience on this day, but now postponing this day, the Multiplex Association of India has issued a note from its official social media handle.

“The National Cinema Day was previously announced to be held on 16th September, however, on request from various stake holders and in order to maximize participation, it would now be held on 23rd September #NationalCinemaDay2022 #Sep23”, the note read.

Notably, after the release of ‘Brahmastra’, the crowd of viewers seems to be returning to the theaters after a quite long period. Theater owners want to increase their share at the time, hence they have requested to postpone National Cinema Day to the authority.

Cinema chains including PVR, INOX, Carnival, Cinepolis, Miraj, Citypride, Asian, Mukta A2, Wave, Movietime, M2K, Delight, and many other theaters are going to offer tickets of Rs 75 on September 23.
