‘Nazar Lag Jayegi’ Out Now: Ajay Devgn romances with Amala Paul in first song from ‘Bholaa’ (WATCH)

New Delhi: The first song from Ajay Devgn’s upcoming film ‘Bholaa’ has been dropped. ‘Nazar Lag Jayegi’ introduces Amala Paul and the love story in the film. The song is composed by Ravi Basrur while Irshad Kamil has penned the lyrics and Javed Ali has provided the lead vocals. A typical Javed Ali-style soulful rendition shows Ajay Devgn’s romance with Amala Paul and some other glimpses of the film.

The music video of the song begins with a man asking Ajay who is he, to which he replies that he was that person whose destruction was reported in newspapers but one day he found her and life felt like a blessing. The video shows Ajay Devgn as an influential man who only bows down to Amala. Ajay also saves her from molestation, like the trope used in Indian cinema for years, and they spend more and more time together.

The song is produced under the banner of T-Series, which is also one of the producers of the film. Santhosh Venky, Sachin Basrur, Sai Charan Bhaskaruni, Ravi Basrur, Sarwar Khan, Rafik Khan and Manjur Khan have given supporting vocals to the song. The makers have also given the credit to the musicians who played the instruments in the song.

‘Bholaa’ is directed by Ajay Devgn and is a remake of the Tamil film ‘Kaithi’. The film also stars Tabu, Gajraj Rao, Deepak Dobriyal and Sanjay Mishra, while Amala Paul and Abhishek Bachchan make their special appearance in the flick. The film will release on March 30.
