In Mumbai in the 1990s, a crime boss had taken over the city. His power unchecked and wielded over the city by his network was unstoppable until the “Encounter Cops”. The “Encounter Cops” killed their targets brazenly and reduced crime in the city considerably. ‘Mumbai Mafia: Police Vs Underworld’ is another one of Netflix’s True-crime Docuseries. And looks like it’d be worth the wait!

The Pale Blue Eye

Starring the masterly Christian Bale, ‘The Pale Blue Eye’ is based in the 1830s and follows Detective Augustus Landor investigating a series of gruesome murders. The film is significant because the young cadet that follows Landor, played by Bale himself, goes on to become the world-famous author Edgar Allan Poe. An intriguing mystery thriller, ‘The Pale Blue Eye’ is one to look out for!

Trial by Fire

13th January

Bringing to life the tragedy of the Uphaar cinema fire, Abhay Deol and Rajshri Deshpande play two grief-stricken parents coming to terms with the death of their kids. This series shows the disaster they went through and their fight for justice and by the looks of the trailer seems like a real tear-jerker.

Thai Massage

14th January

A quirky comedy with the legendary Gajraj Rao alongside Divyendu Sharma is a recipe for some socially relevant entertainment. Following a man in his 70s who realizes that his body doesn’t work the way it used to, the film brings out a meaningful conversation with dramedy. With Sunny Hinduja and Rajpal Yadav, ‘Thai Massage’ is a film you can’t miss!

The Croods: A New Age

15th January 

3 years after its release, ‘The Croods: A New Age’ is releasing on Netflix. A sequel to The Croods movie, A New Age follows the Crood family as they walk into the landowner by the Betterman family. And how things went from there. Starring the voices of the talented Nicholas Cage, Emma Stone, Peter Dinklage, and Leslie Mann, the new Croods movie releases on 15th January 2023!

That ’90s Show

19th January 

After ‘That ’70s Show’ and ‘That ’80s Show’, makers return with ‘That ’90s Show’ starring a new bunch of youngsters to make us laugh. The story continues when in the summer of 1995, Leia Foreman makes friends with a new generation of Point Place kids. She visits her grandparents Red and Kitty played by the original cast Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp and so another decade of entertainment begins.

Mission Majnu

20th January

With the popular actors Sidharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandanna, ‘Mission Majnu’ is releasing directly on Netflix. Set in the 1970s, the story of ‘Mission Majnu’ follows an Indian spy, Majnu, played by Sidharth, that takes on a dangerous mission. A mission to expose a covert nuclear weapons program in the heart of Pakistan. A theatrical release on OTT, ‘Mission Majnu’ is one we are all waiting for!

Pamela: A Love Story

31st January

Offering an intimate look into the life of Pamela Anderson, ‘Pamela: A Love Story’ is reportedly going to “set the record straight” about her controversial career and personal life. The film gives us access to some never-seen-before footage and her journals as the Baywatch star opens up about her relationship with her kids, her romantic history and much more.
