Gadar 2
“Gadar 2,” directed by Anil Sharma and starring Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel, has emerged as one of the biggest box office releases this year. It serves as the highly-awaited sequel to the 2001 film “Gadar Ek Prem Katha.” In “Gadar 2,” Sunny Deol reprises his role as Tara Singh, while Ameesha Patel returns as Sakeena. Anil Sharma’s son, Utkasrh Sharma, also reprises his role as Jeete in the film.
The story is set in 1971 and revolves around Tara Singh’s journey across the border to rescue his son, who has been captured in Pakistan. The film was released on Zee5 on October 6th, providing audiences with an opportunity to enjoy the thrilling storyline and performances from the talented cast.
Khufiya
“Khufiya” is a spy thriller film directed by Vishal Bhardwaj. The story revolves around a tough R&AW operative named Krishna Mehra, played by Tabu. Ali Fazal portrays the suspect, who is seen secretly photocopying and taking important documents home, possibly to share India’s defense secrets with enemy nations. Agent KM and her team relentlessly pursue the suspect, employing 24/7 surveillance and bugs in his home. Throughout their investigation, they ensure the safety of the suspect’s innocent wife and child. The film also features Wamiqa Gabbi and Ashish Vidyarthi. “Khufiya” was released on Netflix on October 5th.
OMG 2
In the film “OMG 2,” directed by Amit Rai, the story revolves around Kanti Sharan Mudgal, played by Pankaj Tripathi. Kanti Sharan, a devoted follower of Lord Shiva, faces a scandal involving his son. In response, he decides to take legal action and requests the court to introduce sex education into his school’s curriculum. This decision leads to an entertaining courtroom drama. However, Kanti Sharan’s journey is not an easy one, as he faces judgmental comments from the community and even witnesses his son attempting suicide. Thankfully, a mysterious messenger, portrayed by Akshay Kumar, sent by Lord Shiva himself, prevents these tragedies from occurring. Yami Gautam also stars in the film as an opposing lawyer. “OMG 2” was released on Netflix on October 8th.
Mumbai Diaries Season 2
“Mumbai Diaries Season 2” is a series created by Nikkhil Advani. It is a follow-up to the well-received first season, which portrayed the aftermath of the tragic 26/11 attacks in Mumbai. In Season 2, the story takes place during the devastating floods that hit Mumbai. The show features a talented ensemble cast including Mohit Raina, Konkona Sen Sharma, Mrunmayee Deshpande, Satyajeet Dubey, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Natasha Bharadwaj, and Tina Desai. “Mumbai Diaries Season 2” was released on October 6th and is available on Amazon Prime Video.
Loki Season 2
