New Delhi: Newly married star couple KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty visited the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga Temple in Ujjain. A video of the couple offering prayers at the temple went viral on the internet. The video shows Rahul and Athiya doing the ‘pooja’ and bowing down in front of the Jyotirlinga.

KL Rahul was seen dressed in a traditional dhoti and Athiya wore a yellowish-golden saree at the temple. The couple could be seen surrounded by other devotees as well.

Amid all the backlash faced by the batter on the internet and the Venkatesh Prasad-Aakash Chopra saga, KL Rahul visited a holy place with his wife Athiya Shetty. The batter is in Madhya Pradesh as the next Test between India and Australia will be played in Indore, starting from March 1 onwards.

KL Rahul is facing heavy criticism for his current form and his place is in question as in-form Shubman Gill warms the bench. Fans took the temple visit as the batter praying to god amidst his bad times.
